Recent work samples

Translating text from one source language into a target language is only one aspect of a professional translator's work. By offering a comprehensive range of linguistic services, I help ensure your strong presence and brand identity in the French market.

Below, you will find examples of recent work I have completed, alongside other projects I have particularly enjoyed working on.

Transcreation

My work with Landfolk, a rental platform for handpicked holiday homes

Landfolk is a Danish rental marketplace for premium holiday homes located across six European countries, including France.

To build their presence and community in the French market, Landfolk curates a unique selection of properties while ensuring excellent customer service for both hosts and guests.

I support their expansion by translating landing pages, blog articles and user interface elements such as booking flows and holiday home descriptions.

In order to make sure Landfolk connects with their French audience, I pay special attention to ensuring cultural adaptation, a market-appropriate tone, and a consistent French glossary.

My specialization in gender-inclusive translation also proves valuable to reflect their values.

Product and market review, SEO

My work with Driversnote, a mileage tracking app

Driversnote is a Danish SaaS company that provides a mileage tracking app, allowing drivers to track their professional trips and generate compliant reports for tax reduction or reimbursement purposes.

To expand their user base in France, Driversnote adopts a comprehensive localization approach, conducting market research and adapting its app copy for French users.

I contribute to their growth through product QA, market research, French SEO optimization, and blog transcreation. My approach focuses on analyzing the French target audience, ensuring a user-friendly and consistent French interface, and recommending adaptations to the French regulatory and cultural context.

Content Writing

My work with Lingoda, a language learning platform

Lingoda is a Berlin-based language learning platform offering online courses to students all over the world. Classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and are taught by certified native-speaking teachers in small groups, focusing on real-life situations.

As part of their course offer, Lingoda writes blog articles aimed at language learners of all levels. These blogs are informative, as well as a way for Lingoda to attract more learners to their courses.

As a translator regularly working with the education sector, with some academic background and experience in teaching to adults, I enjoyed writing this series of blogs. My experience as a SEO translator also proved helpful to enhance the organic search results.

Lingoda’s review of my work is visible on my LinkedIn profile.
